New Superintendents Seminar Series (NSSS)

ACSA's New Superintendents Seminar Series (NSSS) is the only Professional Development Series that is specifically designed for the first and second year superintendent. The program provides first and second year superintendents with a cohort of new superintendent colleagues in a year long program of five, two-day workshops. NSSS allows new superintendents to tackle current issues in a confidential and supportive setting with the guidance of experienced, successful superintendents. Practical topics specific to the role of superintendent are covered in a seminar format to include board / superintendent relations, negotiations, goal setting, evaluations, culture building and leadership. Experienced superintendents provide wisdom, expertise, experience and guidance to the new superintendents in NSSS. If you are a new superintendent, NSSS is the cohort and professional development for you.
