How to Use RSS FeedsRSS provides an easy way to monitor fresh content. RSS feeds highlight new material so you don't have to repeatedly check a site yourself for updates. A number of free and commercial RSS Readers that will download and display RSS feeds are available for download. Many readers are separate, "stand-alone" programs such as those listed on the RSS readers page; other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. Yahoo! lets you add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! page; to make this easier, they provide the ability click on a"Add to My Yahoo!" button to add the feed automatically. Another way many people use RSS feeds is by incorporating content into weblogs, or "blogs". Blogs are web pages comprised of usually short, frequently updated items and web links. Blogging as a publishing tool is used for many purposes: traditional journalism, personal journals, group discussions around a topic, and many combinations in-between. When new information appears on certain ACSA pages, our corresponding RSS feeds are updated and your RSS reader alerts you of the new content. RSS feeds are usually identified by the following button because they are distributed in XML (Extensible Markup Language) format. Additional Information
