Committees and Special Groups

Committees and special groups are formed to address issues or for an identified specific purpose. Committees will continue to operate in an unchanged manner, except six committees will be enhanced by having a vote on the Legislative Policy Committee (ACSA/CAPEA; Co-Administration; Equity, Achievement and Diversity for Success; Retirement; Small School District; and Urban Education).

Committee listings for which nominations are made by region presidents are noted below with an asterisk (*). The remaining committees and special groups do not have specific region representation, and the criteria for selection and appointment differs. If you are interested in appointment to one of these, write directly to the state ACSA president. Chairs are appointed by the state president.
