Executive Leadership Center (ELC)

The Executive Leadership Center (ELC) for California superintendents is designed and implemented through a partnership between the Association of California School Administrators and Springboard Schools.

The curriculum is planned jointly by representative superintendents from ACSA and Springboard Schools staff.

ACSA and Springboard staffs design the seminars for the statewide ELC Institute at ACSA’s Superintendents’ Symposium in January each year, as well as the ELC Institute held each summer in June.

The purpose of the ELC program is to enable superintendents to initiate and implement systemic change and program quality improvement in their districts in order to provide equal access to learning for all students.  In addition, the sessions are designed to give superintendents tools and skills to initiate those conversations that will lead to maximum performance by staff and academic achievement for all students.
