Surviving the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Maze
Participants in this seminar will obtain increased knowledge and understanding of a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) and its relationship to the Individuals Education Program (IPE) process in providing special education services for students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment. The seminar will also focus on legislation current and proposed and its effects on the site and the district. This seminar satisfies standards 1, 2 3, 4, 5 of the California Professional Standards for Educational Leadership and is designed to be of value at the Entry, Induction, Developing and Accomplished levels of leadership.
