Student Discipline:  What Works, What Doesn't!

Are you well versed in the areas of student records, student discipline, the penal code, SARB, the Education code, student rights, parents' rights, and foster parent and foster student rights? These questions and more will be discussed in an interactive workshop with the emphasis on assisting the site administrator to avoid egregious mistakes. Participants will be quizzed and challenged as to their knowledge and application of current state and federal laws. Sample policies/procedures will be distributed to all participants to assist them in performance of their daily routines and duties.
