Perhaps your district is looking to experiences, successful leaders to actively participate in the training/induction of new assistant principals and principals.  If so, it's time to take a look at the New Teacher Center's Leadership Institute (LI) and the role you might be able to place as a licensed, certified LI Trainer.  NTC's Leadership Institute is a ten-module program, offered in half-day/four hour session, over the course of one or two years.  This is staff development designed by principals, for principals---practical stuff, including time management & delegation, meeting facilitation, decision making, culture & climate, vision & leadership styles, supervision & evaluation.  The Leadership Institute Trainer's Academy is a two-day preparation/licensing experience for those who want to serve as LI trainers.

Desired Outcomes:

Understand the theory of action behind module content and design
Receive materials and design based upon best practices for professional development for administrators
Receive a variety of tools and resources to assist them in the presentation of local Leadership Institute
Practice the delivery of Leadership Institute materials through an interactive process
