The New Teacher Center has developed the Leadership Institute - a professional development series designed to meet the needs of both new and experienced principals, as well as assistant principals and central office administrators. These sessions focus on management and leadership tasks, skills, and processes necessary for school site administrators to succeed as instructional leaders. The Leadership Institute includes ten half-day modules and has a proven track record in California. Each Institute session includes current readings in education, interactive practice using management and leadership tools and time to plan the implementation of new knowledge and skills.
