The Walk’bout has joined the 21st Century and is now a web enabled product powered by Springware© (included with purchase).
Web enabled PDA’s have full access directly over the internet. Non-web enabled PDA’s can synchronize via a PC desk or laptop computer. Mac users must use a web enabled PDA.
The Walk’bout is both a protocol for conducting short classroom visitations (5 to 10 minute) and a database for aggregating the information gathered. The purpose of the protocol is to gain objective information regarding the implementation of school-wide goals related to effective instructional practices.
