The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego opened December 1992 and completed an expansion August 2003 where it is now the tallest and largest water front hotel on the west coast. The hotel has two towers, one 40 stories and the other 33 stories located on the San Diego Bay. It has 1,625 deluxe guest rooms, including 95 suites, three ballrooms, an exhibit hall and 41 meeting rooms. The exterior consists of glass and steel with palm trees surrounding the hotel. Manchester Financial Group, LP is the owner of the hotel. Hyatt Hotels & Resorts is the operator.

Ann-Marie's Coffee House
Located steps from the Hyatt and the boardwalk, Ann-Marie's is a perfect place for coffee lovers, featuring a variety of blended mochas, lattes, and espresso. Ann-Marie's also serves teas, fresh juices, soda, bottled water, fresh breakfast goods, desserts and light lunches, such as fresh sandwiches, soups and salads. Ann-Marie's offers indoor and outdoor seating.

Lael's Restaurant
Lael's is a three-meal restaurant that serves serves contemporary cuisine and features a close-up view of San Diego Bay. Dinner buffets, featuring Italian (Wednesdays), prime rib (Thursday), seafood (Friday), barbecue (Sundays), along with a Sunday champagne brunch are the most popular.

Sally's Restaurant
Sally's "Seafood on the Water"
With a flavorful focus on fresh seafood, Sally's is situated on San Diego Bay and is the epitome of the urbane waterfront dining experience. Located adjacent to the Manchester Grand Hyatt, "on the boardwalk" between Seaport Village and the San Diego Convention Center, Sally's is a free-standing restaurant. Seventeen contiguous sets of glass doors open to the marina and boardwalk, and the piazza leading to the Hyatt. Sally's exhibition kitchen allows guests to view the artistic food preparation of Chef Sarah Linkenheil. A Chef's Table, of European tradition, is placed within the kitchen for adventuresome guests who enjoy being inside the culinary action.

Top of The Hyatt
A San Diego landmark, the 40th-floor Top of the Hyatt lounge combines the ambiance of an exclusive club with stunning views. Through floor-to-ceiling windows, the room affords San Diego's best skyline vista: looking south to Mexico, north to La Jolla and west over San Diego Bay, and Coronado Island including the aircraft carriers at Naval Air Station North Island. Top of the Hyatt features classically styled armchairs located next to the viewing windows, and elegant sofas in the center of the lounge. At lunchtime, Top of the Hyatt serves hand-carved sandwiches and fresh salads and soups. The lounge also features a special martini menu.
