RTTT, Proposition 39, and Charter Schools:  The Facilities Factor

Did your district receive a facilities request from a charter school?  2009-10 is the first school year under the new State Board of Education regulations.  This presentation provided an overview of the district's legal obligations for providing "reasonably equivalent" facilities that are "furnished and equipped."  You learned strategies for drafting the preliminary proposal and final notification, and also receive practical tips for negotiating a facilities use agreement.
