One option for receiving a California Preliminary Administrative Credential is to pass the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA), which is administered by ETS three times per year: January, June, and September. To assist prospective administrators in preparing for the SLLA, ACSA is offering the Aspiring California Educators (ACE) test preparation program.
The Southern California Trainings will be held in two locations - ACSA's Ontario office (May 2 & 16, 2009) and San Diego COE (May 9 & 30, 2009). The Northern California Trainings will be held at Yolo COE (May 2 & 16, 2009) and at ACSA's Burlingame office (May 9 & 30, 2009). Central California Trainings will be held at Visalia USD (May 2 & 16, 2009). Registration fee is $385 and includes 13 hours (2 Saturday sessions) of training and practice, two continental breakfasts, two lunches and a copy of the ETS School Leaders Licensure Assessment Practice and Review materials (a $55 value). Trainings also available in August 2009. Please Register early as seating is limited.
Attendees will:
• Become familiar with the standards used in designing the test
• Learn test-taking strategies for the California administrative licensure assessment
• Understand the types of test items and scoring
• Practice writing responses
• Receive feedback on practice
