ACSA's Educational Services Department offers a variety of conferences throughout the year. These job-specific, issue-focused events offer world-class learning, feature nationally-recognized educational experts, and allow attendees the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the state.
Summer Residential Programs: Intensive, multiple day (and night) experience on campus as a learning community, consisting of the Principals' Summer Institute and the Colloquium for New & Aspiring Administrators.
Classified Educational Leaders Institute: Event designed for educational leaders in business/fiscal services, human resources/personnel, maintenance/operations, custodial, technology, facilities, student services/instructional, including confidential and administrative assistants.
Every Child Counts Symposium: Training, networking and professional development opportunity for student services and special education administrators.
Leadership 3.0 Symposium: Features ways that technology can be used, and is being used, to not only assist school and districts to work efficiently, but also to close the achievement gap, differentiate instruction, increase colloboration, and maximize motivation.
Adult Education Conference: Learning and networking opportunities for adult educators.
Negotiators' Symposium: Training and development opportunities for negotiators at all levels of experience.
Personnel Institute: Workshop designed to appeal to administrators in all areas of Human Resource, as well as those who are aspiring to move into the Human Resource side of education.
Superintendents' Symposium: Educational and collegial event for superintendents.
Secondary Literacy Summit: Sessions highlight best practices for improving adolescent literacy achievement. Keynote speakers, workshop sessions, and school panels will focus on reading, academic vocabulary, comprehension, writing, content literacy, and critical literacy.
