This intensive five-day academy is designed around the California Professional Standards for the Educational Leader. It's purpose is to assist leaders in facilitating an integrated approach to maximizing services to students through the use of categorical resources. The elements of the training include state programs, federal programs, needs assessment, program goals and objectives, resource allocation and budgeting.

This academy differs from the traditional format in that it is a week-long program providing 30 hours of instruction. The acadmy is held Monday-Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m.
