Walk'bout Training
The Walk’bout has joined the 21st Century and is now a web enabled product powered by Springware© (included with purchase).
Web enabled PDA’s have full access directly over the internet. Non-web enabled PDA’s can synchronize via a PC desk or laptop computer. Mac users must use a web enabled PDA.
The Walk’bout is both a protocol for conducting short classroom visitations (5 to 10 minute) and a database for aggregating the information gathered. The purpose of the protocol is to gain objective information regarding the implementation of school-wide goals related to effective instructional practices.

Curriculum and Instruction Leaders Webinars
ACSA's Curriculum, Instruction and Accountability Council has created a series of free webinars for Curriculum and Instruction leaders in California. Each webinar will consist of participant sharing and discussion on the set topic. There will be no formal presenter.
Any visual material that participants wish to share can be viewed over the web on each participant's computer. The audio portion of the webinar is conducted over the phone with a toll free call in number.
We do need to know who will participate ahead of time; so if you think you might like to participate in any of the sessions (or all) please send an email to George Manthey. (You will receive a separate invitation, with all the information you need to know in order to participate, for each session, but you only need to send one email to George telling him you'd like to be included.)
