To receive Administrator Training Program (ATP) certification, participants are required to complete:

• Modules 1, 2, and 3 of ATP training from one or more State Board of Education (SBE)-approved providers
• all hours of the Institute (training)
• all hours of the Practicum (individualized follow-up)
• all requirements within a two-year time frame

The two-year period begins on July 1 of the ATP application funding cycle. For example, the two year program timeline for LEAs receiving funds for the 2009-10 school year will be from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2011.

By law, there are no exceptions to the requirement for attending all institute hours. In the case of ACSA’s ATP training, participants who are absent from some portion of the training must attend another ACSA ATP training to make-up the corresponding missed institute hours.
