Student membership is available to individuals currently enrolled in an educational administration credentialing program, who are not employed in positions designated as management or supervisory.
As a Student member, you must verify your enrollment in a course by sending a copy of your transcript, current schedule or letter from a Professor confirming your enrollment in an educational administration program. Please send this along with your completed application.
Student members receive:
- Weekly updates on administrative job openings in EdCal and through the online Career Center
- Timely news and practical information through EdCal, ACSA's weekly newspaper, and Leadership Magazine, the association's professional magazine, featuring articles by and for school administrators
- Member rates to attend ACSA's Professional Development programs, offered in small and large group settings throughout the year
- ACSA member benefits, including group insurance plans, discount purchasing, and family entertainment and travel
- PLUS, if you are employed with a school district you also qualify for the $1,000,000 professional liability coverage and have access to a thriving online community
Limitations
Student members may not vote or hold Association office, nor are they eligible for Professional Standards legal services.
Qualifying members may remain in the Student category a maximum of four years. Beyond that, a change in membership type and dues will result.
