Disability Income Protection Insurance

Long Term Disability coverage underwritten by Standard Insurance Company is designed to supplement STRS as well as meet certain gaps in the STRS disability allowance. Benefit level cannot exceed 66 2/3% of your monthly salary. However, during the first six months, benefit can be received in addition to sick leave provided the combined amount does not exceed 100 percent of pre-disability earnings, then benefit integrates with STRS or any other disability income for four additional years.

Cancer Medical Reimbursement

This plan pays for medical expenses not fully reimbursed by a primary health carrier (up to 30%), including deductible. Other dread diseases also covered such as: polio, multiple sclerosis, etc. This policy is a must for anyone with PPO medical insurance, or some HMO Plans.
