ACSA regularly solicits input from membes for possible legislation sponsorship ideas in the each legislative session. The process is as follows: 

1. Each year the Legislative Policy Committee collects ideas on proposed sponsored legislation for the next legislative year. ACSA would like to increase the involvement of ACSA’s committees and councils in collecting ideas. 
2. Interested parties may complete the form below and submit it to ACSA’s Governmental Relations office prior to the fall Delegate Assembly. Forms may be returned via email to Suzanne Caffrey at scaffrey@acsa.org, or faxed to ACSA's Sacramento office at 916.444.3245.
3. Governmental Relations staff will analyze the suggestions and present them to the Legislative Policy Committee for discussion and prioritization. Top priorities will become ACSA’s sponsored bills for the year. Those proposals will help the Legislative Policy Committee in taking positions on related bills.
