• Settlement reached on CAHSEE graduation lawsuit
  A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit regarding the California High School Exit Exam. The issue dealt with the question of what to do with students who had failed the exam but had completed their senior year of high school.
• ACSA successful in getting amendments to K-8 textbook adoption
  The SBE took action to approve and amend Title 5 regulations that guide the K-8 textbook adoption process and the K-12 curriculum framework development process. A large number of public comments were submitted, including those by ACSA and the publishers.
