  • State Allocation Board approves financial crisis regulations
    The State Allocation Board approved emergency regulations that bring a halt to funding in the School Facilities Program. The regs will make project funding subject to the availability of funding by the Pooled Money Investment Board. The fund is used for temporarily funding SFP projects until bonds authorized by Proposition 1D can be sold.
  • Update of math framework to include focus groups
    The California Department of Education is seeking participation in the update of the K-12 Curriculum Framework for Mathematics, inviting interested parties to become members of the Mathematics Focus Group and/or the Mathematics Curriculum Framework and Evaluation Criteria Committee.
