  • CTC seeks applicants for ESL advisory panel
    The Commission on Teacher Credentialing is seeking educators with expertise in English as a Second Language, English as a New Language, English as a Foreign Language or the equivalent to serve on an advisory panel concerning authorizations to teach English learners. Application deadline is Dec. 15.

    More fifth, seventh and ninth grade public school students have reached the “Healthy Fitness Zone” on this year’s Physical Fitness Test, but SPI Jack O'Connell says, "to get them to take giant leaps instead of baby steps will require additional encouragement from school administrators, teachers and parents."
