Purpose
Identifies and studies issues relating to administrators in the areas of special education, student services, and coordinated child and youth services. Recommends practices, policies, and legislation to ensure high quality programs in the areas listed above. Improves collaboration and communication among general education, student services, and special education and other support agencies/organizations. Facilitates the development offerings for school administrators or designees, including student services and special education administrators, and especially new administrators and those with new or changing roles. Assists ACSA in membership recruitment.
