ACSA members are encouraged to participate in a lobby day this week aimed at protecting the retirement benefits of educators.

Scheduled for Wednesday, June 1 in Sacramento, the event was organized by the California Teachers Association and will include ACSA and other educational organizations to urge the Legislature to oppose pension reform proposals that may surface during budget deliberations.

The day will begin at 9 a.m. with a briefing by CTA lobbyist Jennifer Baker, followed by legislative visits from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
