To identify and study issues relating to diversity, equal opportunity and access.  To recommend pracitices and policies which will lead to quality instruction, programs and sevices for all students into the 21st century.  To assist in the development of in-service education programs, materials, and resources that help administrators to respond sensitively to cultural, linguistic, ethnic, gender and economic differences among students and communities.  To establish partnership/communication links with national/state administrators, teacher and parent organizations.  To assist the board in implementing those aspects of the association goals which address student diversity.
