For TLG members within driving distance of the meeting, ACSA will reimburse the cost of the following travel expenses (with receipts as appropriate):

• mileage to/from the TLG meeting or one day car rental/gasoline
• parking fees
• bridge tolls

NOTE: TLG members are asked to compare the cost of driving their own car vs. driving a rental car and seelct the least expensive option.

Driving
Private automobile mileage is reimbursed at the rate of $0.50/mile, but this amount should not exceed the comparable air travel rate. ACSA asks that members fly only if it is the least expensive way to travel.

Rental Cars
It may be more cost effective for a TLG member to rent a car with unlimited mileage than to claim mileage for a personal automobile. Renting a car at an economical rate may be more cost effective if you are driving 100 miles or more one way. TLG members are asked to compare the cost of driving their own car vs. driving a rental car and select the least expensive option. When renting a car under these circumstances, ACSA asks that members rent cars for no longer than a 24-hour period, select the most economical (yet comfortable) vehicle available, and return rental cars with a full tank to incur no additional gasoline costs.

Parking in Sacramento
Please refer to the City of Sacramento Parking Map for the information in this section.

Parking is often NO LONGER available in the parking lot behind the ACSA office on the corner of 11th and I Streets (City Hall Garage). Parking is available at any of three public parking locations approximately two blocks from the ACSA office at:

• Capitol Garage: on L street between 10^th and 11^th Streets – entrance on 10^th Street
• Convention Center Garage: on 13^th Street between I and J Streets – entrance on 13^th Street (not designated on City parking map)
• Lot D: on 13^th Street between H and I Streets - entrance on 13^th Street

The daily rate for parking in these lots is approximately $18.

Directions to Public Parking Lots from ACSA Office

Capitol Garage: Continue on J Street to 12^th Street. Turn right and proceed to L Street. Turn right and proceed to 10^th Street. Turn right and proceed to garage entrance on the right.

Convention Center Garage: Continue on J Street to 13^th Street. Turn left and proceed to the garage entrance in the middle of the block on the left side.

Lot D: From J Street, turn left on 11^th Street. Proceed to H Street. Turn right and proceed to 13^th Street. Turn right and proceed to the lot entrance in the middle of the block on the right side.
