Most educators enter the field because of an innate desire to help others. For Philip Mirci, assistant professor of education at University of Redlands, this is something that is near to his heart. For his dedication, he has been named ACSA’s 2011 Professor of Education of the Year.
The ACSA/CAPEA Committee is a partnership between ACSA and the California Association of Professors of Education Administration. Through this partnership, K-12 leaders in ACSA work closely with those at the higher education level on issues regarding administrator preparation and licensing, professional development and legislation. This partnership ensures that ACSA is intimately involved in nurturing the next generation of school leaders.
